Deval Patrick will be in Amherst this Thursday (April 22) for a very important fundraiser at Suzie Lowenstein's home at 77 Chestnut Street, Amherst, MA.
According to polls, Republican candidate Charlie Baker is getting some traction with voters. And Republicans are fired up after the Scott Brown election in January.

Override Passes in Amherst Saving Services For School, Town, and Library Programs |
AMHERST — March 26, 2010 — Residents voted "YES" to approve the $1.68
million Proposition 2 1/2 override by a wide margin in favor of
providing money to school, town, and library programs and positions that
would otherwise have been slashed.
The vote was the third tax-cap override in Amherst's history and the
first in six years and was decided by a better than 58-to-42 percent
margin.

Budget Cuts: Shaffer Unveils His Plan |
