Congressman John W. Olver has represented the 1st Congressional District since June 1991. Currently he is assistant whip and serves on on the house appropriations committee.

State Senator Stanley Rosenberg
Senator Rosenberg has held many leadership positions in the State Senate. He is presently President Pro Tempore and chair of the Senate Ways and Means Committee. He is a particularly strong advocate of public higher education in Massachusetts.

State Representative Ellen Story
Representative Story is currently serving her sixth term in the Masschusetts State Legislature. She sits on the Steering Policy and Scheduling committee, the Homeland Security and Federal Affairs Committee, Mental Health, and Arts and Tourism. She works tirelesssly for the interests and values of her Amherst/Granby district.

Councillor Thomas T. Merrigan - Eight District
The Massachusetts Governor's Council, also known as the Executive
Council, is composed of eight individuals elected from districts, and
the Lt. Governor who serves ex officio. The eight councillors are
elected from their respective districts every two years.
The
Council generally meets at noon on Wednesdays in its State House
Chamber, next to the Governor's Office, to act on such issues as
payments from the state treasury, criminal pardons and commutations,
and approval of gubernatorial appointments; such as judges, notaries
and justices of the peace (see additional information at Mass.gov ).

Hampshire Register of Probate David E. Sullivan
Serves as the Register of Probate for Hampshire County, preciding over the Probate and Family Court. Services of the Probate and Family court include court cases concerning domestic
relations, adoption, paternity, and estates.
