Budget Cuts: Shaffer Unveils His Plan |

A worst-case budget scenario in which more than 10 positions would
be cut from various departments, including one police officer, two
firefighters and two laborers at the Department of Public Works, has
been outlined by Town Manager Larry Shaffer.

The Amherst Democratic Town Committee meets next at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, at the Amherst Police Station meeting room.
We may have an exciting guest speaker. More details will be coming shortly.
Amherst Democratic Caucus
The Amherst Democratic Caucus will be held on Saturday, February 13, at 10 am, at the Crocker Farm School, 280 West Street, Amherst.
Doors open at 9:30.
Please recruit interested Democrats to attend the Caucus and to run as delegates for the State Democratic Party nominating convention in early June.
